here goes the novice again asking for knowledge. this week end i will attempt to remove my i match quick hitch and install my frontier rotary spreader for the day any suggestions from the more experienced? again thanks for all of the advice you all share thats what mikes this site so good. roboha

Why wouldn't the spreader work with the imatch if you have bushings for the side pins unless it doesnt work with the 3 point system? ....

dealer told me the the quick worked with the ballast box, the 48" befco box scraper but not the rotary spreader. and yes it is a 3 point hitch spreader, so base on that info i just assumed that i would have to remove the hitch to install the spreader because of 5 days of straight rain i havent looked at the tractor since monday afternoon. it looked like the i match was bolted on so i assumed i would have to remove the 3 bolts and then attach the spreader. keep in mind i have never used a 3 point hitch before i am a rapidly learning rookie. ....

If your iMatch is attached like mine you just need to remove three big cotter pins, pull the three pins out that attach the iMatch to the three links and it just falls off. Watch your toes! ....
